Ronald A. Hartmann
An attorney since 1984, Mr. Hartmann has focused his practice on litigation involving construction defects, products liability, real estate failure to disclose, homeowner association dues issues, insurance disputes, and overtime pay for employees.Over the years, Mr. Hartmann has represented several thousand homeowners and building owners in a variety of construction defect litigation. He has represented homeowner associations and homeowners in lawsuits involving defective common areas and developer miscalculation of monthly homeowner association assessments. He has also represented individual homeowners for defective custom homes, defective tract homes, building owners for defective apartment buildings and commercial buildings. Mr. Hartmann has represented homeowners and building owners in individual actions against real estate developers/contractors, as small or large groups of homeowners against real estate developers/contractors in “mass actions” for defects to their homes, and hundreds of homeowners in class actions for common defects to their homes.
Mr. Hartmann has represented clients in a wide variety of non-construction defect matters, including representing insurance policyholders in coverage disputes with their insurance companies (insurance bad faith), real estate sales failure to disclose, overtime pay and related issues for employees, serious personal injury, general business litigation, and intellectual property (patents, copyright, trademark).
Mr. Hartmann earned his Juris Doctor in 1984 from the University of Texas (Austin) School of Law. Mr. Hartmann obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Finance in 1981 at the University of Alabama, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was elected to the Beta Gamma Sigma national honorary business society. Mr. Hartmann is licensed to practice law in California, Nevada and Arizona.
Mr. Hartmann's hobbies include yoga, mountain- and road-bike riding, hiking and backpacking with his family and his friends, music, and movies.
